After Midnight is a limited edition contemporary artwork created from an original photograph and digitally manipulated in Adobe Photoshop using hand-built glitch and chromatic separation techniques. No AI has been used in the creation of this work.
A figure in a heavily textured dress is fractured by shifting layers of red and cyan, transforming the body into something between fashion photograph, memory and interference. The image feels caught in motion — as though it has been pulled from a late-night moment and distorted by time, light and noise.
The work balances glamour and unease. The intricate woven texture of the dress contrasts with the rough distortion surrounding it, creating a piece that feels both luxurious and raw. Cropped tightly and stripped of context, the figure becomes almost sculptural.
At 100 × 150 cm, the artwork has the presence of a fashion campaign but the atmosphere of contemporary art. It is bold, seductive and highly interior-designer friendly, particularly in spaces with travertine, smoked glass, black steel, walnut, taupe and soft neutral tones.
