Night Tree

Signal Tree is a limited edition contemporary artwork created from an original photograph of a tree trunk and digitally manipulated in Adobe Photoshop using chromatic separation and glitch techniques. No AI has been used in the creation of this work.

The familiar form of a tree trunk is stripped back until it becomes something almost sculptural. Black and white tones are interrupted by red and cyan shifts, creating the effect of an image slipping out of alignment — as though memory, movement and the natural world are colliding.

The work sits between photography and abstraction. The branching form feels both organic and architectural, while the glitch effect introduces tension and energy. At first glance the image appears minimal and restrained; closer inspection reveals texture, distortion and the scars of the original trunk beneath the surface.
