The Night Watch

Night Watch is a limited edition photographic artwork created from an original photograph and digitally manipulated in Adobe Photoshop using layered glitch, distortion and chromatic separation effects. No AI has been used in the creation of this work.

Seen through rain-covered glass, a lone architectural form emerges from darkness. The image is fractured by interference — colour shifts, static and distortion — creating the sense of a signal struggling to come through.

The work sits between stillness and tension. Rain softens the scene while the glitch effects disrupt it, producing an atmosphere that feels cinematic, isolated and strangely calm. There is a sense of standing alone at night, watching the storm pass, waiting for clarity.
